In clinical neuropsychology, brain function is evaluated by objectively testing several areas of cognition including general intellect, higher level executive skills such as reasoning and problem solving, attention/concentration, learning and memory, language, visual perceptual and visual spatial skills. Mood and personality may also be assessed. A very detailed report is produced that includes the diagnoses, case formulation and treatment recommendations.
