My therapeutic approach is holistic, relational, and person-centered. I have spent several years working with young adults with substance use disorders on college campuses as well as working with adults in outpatient community mental health settings. I have experience in macro-level social work which informs my lens of seeing the interaction of systems that impact individuals. My specialties are in working with people who are seeking healing from trauma and addiction, people who would like to explore their relationship with substances, people in recovery from substance use, individuals seeking purpose and meaning in their lives, as well as addressing depression and anxiety from a social justice and empowerment lens. As a person with lived experience, I hope to normalize life stressors as well as life successes. I am a proponent for mindfulness, meditation, breath-work, and mystic spirituality on the healing journey, and I often bring these evidence-based and ancient practices into the therapy room. I hold these approaches while also advocating for self-defined recovery. You are the leader of your recovery process, I am here to offer support and new ways to approach challenges. I am trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and am a 500 hour certified clinical yoga practitioner.
